I know how you feel. The delays, for whatever reason, can make you crazy. Glad to hear that you've finnaly gotten it done.

Reminds me of a story from a few years back.

A fiddler buddy of mine was expecting a box of his first CDs, 1,000 of them. But he lived a ways out of town so he asked another friend of ours living in town who was home during the day to receive shipment of the recordings for him.

I popped over there on lunch break and we opened the box up (with permission) to listen to one, just as his father called on the phone.

"Hey, it's too bad you don't have a CD player", he said to his Dad. "I just took delivery of a thousand brand new CDs over here."

"Aw, you friggin' dummy!" his father scolded him. "I told you not to join that gee dee Columbia House. It's a big rip-off!"

Well, after a long and sometimes harrowing couple of years, I am going to the factory today to pick up our new CD. We did the recording two years ago, and then every time we had the money to have the suckers made, somebody's car broke down.(I am not making this up.) A friend took pity on us and gave us the money to finish the project, and said, don't worry about paying me back, just help out someone else down the road. (He will, of course, get as many free copies as he wants.)

We've titled it Lowlands of Holland, and it's mostly traditional stuff (surprise, surprise), along with about 4 originals. It will be available on CD Baby as soon as I get that set up, and also on our website at http://caudellmusic.tripod.com .
