If what you say is true, TIA (and I have no reason to doubt) I hope it sells like hotcakes. Maybe the religious right will finally realize the mindset of the men who are manipulating them.

The Republicans, too, should be having some second thoughts about the men they have elected to power. When you put it all together (Scooter Libby, Jeff Gannon, Karl Rove and Cheney's daughter)maybe there is some truth to the Gay Republican Mafia conspiracy ;>)

I really do not care about a person's sexual preference, but for this cast of characters to push an anti-gay platform is on par with Condoleeza Rice shopping for shoes while New Orleans was being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. These people are ethically and morally bereft. The dollar is their almighty God.

Scooter will absolutely rise again if he takes the fall for Rove and Cheney. His fine will be paid for by his friends and he will have to suffer from a house arrest in his well-appointed mansion with pool. He will laughing all the way to the bank.

On the other hand -

1. Faced with jail time he might sing.

2. If Cheney's torture tactics are used on him, he might expose the whole administration.

3. They could put him in a cage with a young bear and feed him through the bars. (This would probably be kinder than exposing him to prison life where the inmates would have a heyday with him.)
