Subject: RE: BS: Best and Worst Werewolf flick! From: Once Famous Date: 16 Dec 05 - 09:43 PM Oh, by far the best one was Abbot & Costello meet the Wolfman. It had everything! Lon Chaney, JR at his best and hairiest, Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula (commmmmmmmmmmmme here!), and Boris Karloff as Frankenstein (or was that as John Kerry) all in one flick together. Aaaaaa--bbbbbbotttttt! |

Subject: RE: BS: Best and Worst Werewolf flick! From: GUEST,Lucaine Date: 16 Dec 05 - 08:16 PM AWIL had forgotten to renew his 'silver bullet' policy. Accordingly, those SAS bastards were able to gun him down with ordinary bullets. Shameful. They'd never take me like that. |

Subject: RE: BS: Best and Worst Werewolf flick! From: Little Hawk Date: 16 Dec 05 - 06:07 PM How did the American werewolf in London meet his end? I can't recall. I do remember him bursting out of a door that was being held shut by a whole bunch of British "bobbies". |

Subject: RE: BS: Best and Worst Werewolf flick! From: Liz the Squeak Date: 16 Dec 05 - 06:03 PM Worst = 'I was a Teenage Werewolf' with Michael Landon - better known as 'Pa' in 'Little House on the Prairie'.... truly dire. 'Teen Wolf' was not much better. Best.... transformation still has to be 'American Werewolf in London'. Still can't listen to 'Bad moon rising' without the desire to apologise to Jack for calling him a meatloaf. Sexiest = Hugh Jackman as he turns werewolf in 'Van Helsing'. LTS |

Subject: BS: Best and Worst Werewolf flick! From: Little Hawk Date: 16 Dec 05 - 04:14 PM And there have been plenty...from the serious to the completely ridiculous and every shade in between. Werewolves are interesting characters. They can have a strong sexual component (as in "The Howling" series) or they can just go for the jugular, period. Then there are the dorky teen werewolves on campus if you really have time to kill. What's your choice for best and worst of these? |
