Subject: RE: El Greko seeks gig in Melbourne From: George Papavgeris Date: 06 Mar 06 - 04:46 AM I was thiking more along the lines of the up and down motion of the lift causing the hapless Greek airsickness. You can see it coming, can't you? "Stavros can't come to work today..." |

Subject: RE: El Greko seeks gig in Melbourne From: John MacKenzie Date: 06 Mar 06 - 04:40 AM In Melbourne George the tradional occupation for Greek immigrants is taxi driving. Although I suppose a lift is a vertical version of a horizontal occupation to paraphrase GBS. Giok |

Subject: El Greko seeks gig in Melbourne From: George Papavgeris Date: 04 Mar 06 - 09:48 AM I am due to play in Melbourne on 12th April, however that is a private gig not open to the public, and I have a number of friends & ex-colleagues living in the area who would like to come and hear me. I did have a normnal gig planned for the 11th as well, but arrangements for that fell through. Does anyone know of any links that might help me stage an open gig in the area on the 11th April - perhaps a house concert or something? |
