Courageous woman--more power to her. One observation: "She said she no longer practiced Islam". This is too bad--her views would likely carry more weight if she said she still was a practicing Moslem.

This is great news, if I had the money I would parachute copies of the Koran in the vernacular all over the Muslim world. Some Muslims can recite the whole work in Arabic from memory and not understand a word of it.

But who will read her book, other than equally disgusted Muslims. Reform is more likely to work. IIRC under shari'a law, apostasy carries a death penalty.
