Last week Margaret Trudeau came out publicly about her problems of suffering from bi-polar disorder ... this would explain the reasons of many of her actions ... bi-polar disorder is a tragic condition for the sufferers but can be treated by medication, awareness of the symptons. It can be especially heartbreaking for family memembers and close friends .... then again awareness for all can be benefit in the understanding of this sickness.

I definately agree with you that Maureen McTeer was/(is) an attractive woman ... I always considered her a consertative intellectual type, not the consertative authoritative type. She was independantly minded, but that added to her appeal.
