Subject: RE: Pyrates Royale in Upstate NY From: MMario Date: 24 Jul 06 - 12:27 PM I don't have any - I actually didn't get to see them aside from Skivee and Capt moon both making quick visits to my booth and a few minutes outside the gate. I'll ask around. |

Subject: RE: Pyrates Royale in Upstate NY From: SINSULL Date: 20 Jul 06 - 10:13 AM I was out your way last weekend, Leo. But heat and time constraints prevented me from stopping by for a hug and a hello. When does the season end? Meantime enjoy the Pyrates. |

Subject: RE: Pyrates Royale in Upstate NY From: MMario Date: 20 Jul 06 - 10:10 AM d*mn; wish I was still at pyllow fyghts! (pubside stage is right next to that game). I'm surprised they didn't stick you on the Shipwreck Stage between Don Juan and Miguel shows...(lord knows it would help business in that neck of the woods) |

Subject: RE: Pyrates Royale in Upstate NY From: Skivee Date: 20 Jul 06 - 10:06 AM It appears that we are sequestered in the Black Horse pub throughout the weekend. We may do a few songs with our old pal, Capt. Ali. |

Subject: RE: Pyrates Royale in Upstate NY From: MMario Date: 20 Jul 06 - 08:24 AM Skiv - during cast call I am busy setting up my booth** - but just about anyone can tell you where archery is located (lower shire, turn left, about halfway to the boggs.) - hopefully you will have at least one show on @ the Nun's Grotto - which is directly across from my game, behind the kissing bridge. **okay - so I'm mostly riding herd on a pack of teenagers - but given we are "hormone central" this keeps me busy! |

Subject: RE: Pyrates Royale in Upstate NY From: Skivee Date: 20 Jul 06 - 12:38 AM Yup, we're getting ready to trek up there. We will be trying to invent new "Wolcott" stories. do you show at cast call? We'll look for you. To our other gentile readers: there are many wonderful folk acts and fun performers there...well worth the trip. An informative activity for performers is to attend and study performance technique differences between different kinds of venues. It's quite an education. |

Subject: Pyrates Royale in Upstate NY From: MMario Date: 19 Jul 06 - 09:13 AM The Pyrates - several of whom have been known to appear here at the Mudcat Cafe - are to be performing at the Sterling Renaissance Festival this weekend. If any of you are in the area it is WELL worth the admission price to see them! Of course, the admission price also gets you the jousts, and a host of other shows - and you could always swing by the Archery booth and say hi to the loud guy behind the counter, but THIS weekend (July 22,23 Now if I can only figure a way to get *OUT* from behind the counter to see them. Hey Skivee! Do you have a show schedule yet? |
