Does it keep cats away too?

If so I could have used some a few years ago in Bahrain. I was fixing my old Pontiac and had to send to The States for parts. When they arrived I lifted the hood and found that a cat had kittens in the partly dismantled engine.

Usually I spread moth balls around and that seems to keep them away. Last winter, however, I didn't do that and I ended up with a nest in the generator. It jammed up the starter drive and I had to take the damn thing apart to reassemble it.
Jacqui hates moth balls, so I'm going to try Bounce fabric softener.

We had one in our motorhome last Winter. Mick put some grainy stuff down and no problem now. Thank goodness we didn't have any damage to the van seating etc. Mick had left some clothes in an underseat locker though and they were pretty badly chewed up.

And another small lol to Bee. Campers are MUCH less secure than houses....must say I'm surprised.

PS...just HOPE you never get a mouse dying in a stove/oven........dear gods the stink when you turn it on......

Oh Robin....LOL....yes, mice WILL find their way into a winterized camper caravan and do some huge damage.....and it seems a bit diff to take a cat camping or leave one shut up inside all winter.....

I didn't know mice were a problem with campers/RVs. We've owned several (campers, not mice) in the past ten years and haven't ever seen a mouse in them. The house now, since the demise of our last kitty - ever smelt a mouse that's chewed its way through the cork of a quarter-full wine bottle, apparently drank itself to death and lay sodden in the bottom for a few days in the cupboard? It took drastic measures to get rid of the odor, and I still think I catch a whiff of it now and then... or that's its tiny drunken ghost.

Its actually an attractant for rats.

The rats keep the mice out.

Mr's mom says she can get this stuff, but it can't be 'marketed' because then the gubmint and the health nuts would get involved. You spray it on the undercarriage and it keeps MICE out!

After I find out what's in it, is anybody interested?

She has owned the camper since 98 and never had a mouse inside using it.
