Thanks. Yes, kat, I'm looking forward to it. There are 2 Irish sessions in Norwich I like. They largely consist of different people and have (I think) quite different feels to them. I normaly can only get in once a week and opt for the Wednesday night one but it's always nice to get to this one too.

Richard, your comment about being in the pub since lunchtime took me back. I had almost forgotten that in my 'olden days' I spent a lot of hours, interminable hours, in the various eateries and drinkeries. These days I spend those hours in front of the computer!

Been in the pub since lunchtime. I haven't done that for years. Stepson phoned from Oz this morning and encouraged me, and daughter from Grottingham at lunchtime and endorsed the plan.

I may have to get the Marshall head and the Goth set of humbuckers out shortly and give it some!
