Subject: The Connecticut Sound From: Barbara Shaw Date: 02 Nov 06 - 12:27 PM A new tunebook called The Connecticut Sound - a Conntra Collection of Reels, Marches, Hornpipes, Rags, Jigs & Waltzes comprised of 91 tunes by 20 CT composers, is now officially published. This book was edited by Mickey Koth with assistance from Dan Hocott, and five tunes written by myself are included in the book. Check it out: http://www.conntras.org/conntune.htm. I am so psyched, not only to have my tunes included, but also to have a collection like this from CT musicians. I have a great fondness for my home state and am proud to see this book published. Yay, Connecticut! Yay, Mickey! |
