Subject: RE: Brian Peters ballad forum, 3.12 From: Valmai Goodyear Date: 18 Nov 06 - 06:23 AM I'm sure Brian would do these workshops anywhere that will book him to do it. We've got two more ballad days at the Lewes Arms next year: with Judy Cook on Saturday 17th. March and with Craig Morgan Robson on Sunday 11th. November (they are doing a day of vocal harmony on Saturday 10th. November and an evening performance at the Lewes Arms Folk Club the same day). Valmai |

Subject: RE: Brian Peters ballad forum, 3.12 From: GUEST,Philippa Date: 18 Nov 06 - 06:08 AM Pamela - I note the quotation from Cornell U newsletter. Did Brian do a workshop in Ithaca? Did you go? I like the idea. Does Brian do many of these workshops? Is anyone else holding similar workshops? I won't be travelling from Ireland for this one, but if it was easier to get to, I would've liked to attend. |
