Subject: BS: Bonecruncher's had his operation From: Bonecruncher Date: 24 Dec 06 - 07:55 PM Hi Guys Those of you who have seen me hobbling around for the last few years may be interested to know that last week I had an artery graft from under my armpit, down into my groins, to improve the flow of blood to my legs. Unfortunately there were slight complications and I was urgently whipped back into hospital for obs and treatment of a hospital-induced infection. However, I am now back home, although with a tube in my arm, and have to attend the local hosp[ital daily for ten days for intravenous injections of antibiotics. The best outcome is that I have been able to walk 600 yards without pain, rather than the twenty yards that I was able to cover the last few months. Looking forward to 2007 festival season and seeing you all, plus answering any medical queries that are within my remit. Colyn. |
