I had two posters on my bedroom wall as a kid, Dave Keon and Gordie Howe. Keon was a gentleman on the ice, but Ballard was an asshole everywhere. No kid ever had a poster of Ballard.

Ballard refused to offer him a contract, so he went to the W.H.A. Then years later, Ballard refused to sell his rights to the Islanders.

The spat appears to be over!(about time)

Dave Keon will make an appearance with the 1966-67 Stanley Cup Champions at the Air Canada Centre February 17, 2007 to mark the 40th anniversary of that win and to celebrate the 80th year of the Leafs organization.
For those of you who are old enough, and fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs when they where in their glory years this,to me, is like the second coming!
