I don't know if this is true, but if it isn't it ought to be. Many years ago Roger Whittacker was appearing ... somewhere ... on the same bill as Ewan McColl. RW went up to EM very respectfully, and said, "I've always wanted to meet you," to which EM (allegedly) replied, "Well, I can't say I've ever wanted to meet you!" and walked off.

I have to say, RW seems suc a thoroughly nice bloke, I could never be rude to him myself, however much I dislike his songs. (Even if he's not a 'Catter!)

This thread is about people with some (vague) connection to our music thingy...people who are so insufferably nice, or bland and you would just like to really...really TICK them off somehow.

Personally I'd like to see Wiily Nelson p.o.ed cos I'm sure that he would get his six gun out and just blow the world away.
