The truth here is simple Beans.........We don't like you. Nobody around here has ever liked you and any kind words posted about you are just to get a reaction so we can laugh at you behind your back. I'd say that I hated to bring this news to you but fact is, I won the contest! I posted as Cool Beans nearly every time. I do recall a great purge of posts a couple of years ago.

If you go to the Quick Links, use the drop down menu, scroll down and click on Old Adv. Forum Search, then hit GO, put your user name in the search box that comes up, you should get a list of all of your postings. Doing that, I only see 5 total for 2001/2002 of yours. Is it possible you didn't post as much during that time? Or, maybe there is a glitch. Postings are archived automatically.

They are probably still in the database, they just don't show on a search. I presume you did the search by clicking on your name in a thread. I've done that and it doesn't show all my posts, but I can click on a traced thread on my personal page and be taken to some of my posts that don't come up in a search. I suspect it's related to the database issues that resulted in a lot of problems like the MIDI files not working, double pictures, etc.

I guess all is not completely fixed yet.

I was looking at my collecetd works on Mudcat, and I noticed that I have no postings from 2001 and 2002, which can't be. There are plenty of my posts from 2000, although, come to think of it, I started on here in 1997 or 98. No great loss, but what's the policy/procedure for preserving posts?
