This has got to be the funniest bizarre Florida crime novel ever written. It's a standout in the genre, which is extensive. Orange Crush is more hilarious than most of these books, because it centers around a farcical and almost indescribably corrupt Florida gubernatorial election in 2002, thus it is filled with politicial satire from start to finish...and what marvelously juicy political satire! Prepare to see both the Democrats and Republicans revealed at their absolute worst.
