Subject: BS: Obit: Sam Neill (Actor) 1947-2026 From: Helen Date: 13 Jul 26 - 05:41 AM Sad news today. Our honorary Aussie actor, Sam Neill has passed away. He's was really a Kiwi (New Zealander) but here in Oz we did our best to claim him as one of our own. Actor Sam Neill "In short: Actor Sam Neill, known for his performances in films such as My Brilliant Career, Jurassic Park, The Piano and The Dish, has died aged 78. "A statement on his social media account says he died in Sydney 'surrounded by his family' and that he 'remained cancer free'. "Tributes are flowing for Neill, remembering him as a great of the film and television industries." He was in a lot of great movies but one of my favourites is the quirky, funny, clever Hunt for the Wilderpeople |

I'm just now hearing about his wonderful Instagram account that managed to soothe and entertain followers during COVID and beyond. |

Subject: RE: Obit: Sam Neill (Actor) 1947-2026 From: Charmion Date: 18 Jul 26 - 11:52 AM I first saw Sam Neill in “Reilly, Ace of Spies”. He was brilliant, utterly convincing in a challenging role. He always looked and acted like the most intelligent person in the story. |
