Subject: RE: BS Kudos for Mary in Kentucky From: JamesJim Date: 01 Feb 00 - 12:04 AM Mary is representative of all us Kentuckians. We go out of our way to treat people kindly. Sure, we's poor, but we's proud. Why, in my family (14 children), we only had one pair of shoes. When it snowed (like the last few days), we took turns wearin' em' out to the outhouse. Ah yes and thank goodness for Sears & Roebuck. A little rough, but my what a clean job it would do. Hi Mary! I went to a great "hoot" Friday night in Louisville. Takes place every January at the Unitarian church on old Brownsboro Rd. John Gage and other local notables were there and we sung our hearts out. What a great night. We just sat in a big circle of about 60 or 70 people, many with instruments and all with a desire to sing. We made great music! See ya! Jim
