Subject: RE: BS: Weather. New thread as of March 16, 2010 From: keberoxu Date: 27 Mar 26 - 01:46 PM IN some places south of here, spring is underway and people need cooling in the air. Here in southwestern New England, it's mud season, which is a messy overlapping of winter and spring. THe mud could get more snow on top if temperatures cool, which they are supposed to do overnight and tomorrow. |

Subject: RE: BS: Weather. New thread as of March 16, 2010 From: Sandra in Sydney Date: 31 Mar 26 - 03:21 AM It's getting a bit cooler here - 2 nights ago I pulled out my cheap thin wool shawl (used as first cool-weather blanket) & also my thicker (good quality) wool shawl & slept under both of them, tho I only used the thin one last night! I also bought a thin down jacket as I lost mine late last year, but I haven't needed it yet. As always, over summer I've been wearing a good quality linen shirt as a sun screen! I'm a very unusual Aussie, I've never been able to cope with sun. I only found out 2 or 3 years that the nasty headaches I always got from sun, glare & humidity were migraines. I never saw lights with them, tho once or twice a year I saw lights briefly without a headache, so my skin is much younger than my 73 years. sandra |
