The Brits do always seem to do well in events where they can sit or lie down. Perhaps if they Introduced a nice cup and tea and some hobnobs onto that tea-tray they'd be assured of the gold in perpetuity.

Aye, and if it were some thick, overpaid footballer caught shaggin' his mate's missus, or arguing with the ref instead of watching what the opposition are doing with the ball, we'd never hear the end of it, either in the rags or on the telly.

Funny priorities, some people have.

Yep, it's a fine thing for the Brits.
