Oh, I have been to Ludlow Fair
And left my necktie God knows where
and down in lovely muck I’ve lain,
Happy, ‘til I rose again.
The sub it was the old sun yet,
And I was I, my things were wet.

Our dear Mr. Trump would lurk
at Jr. Miss America dressing rooms
He couldn't resist being a jerk.
When it came to Epstein, I assume
that rapist Trump did the worst.
When teenage Ivanka began to bloom
Daddy was likely her first.

Where are you gonna go now?
Where are you going to land?
You could have stayed on Comedy Central
You sure have plenty of fans
You know you can't hold on forever
We all signed up together with you
You're not a present for your friends to open
You are still too young to be singin' the blues

[Refrain]
Ah, ah-ah, ah, ah
Ah-ah-ah, ah

[Chorus]
So goodbye Stephen Colbert
Where the gods of comedy howl
You were kicked out of your place on Late Night TV
It sure is a kick in the bowels
Back to the howlin' old owl in the woods
Huntin' the horny-orange toad
Oh, You need to decide where your future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road

[Refrain]
Ah, ah-ah, ah, ah
Ah-ah-ah, ah

[Verse 2]
What do you think you'll do, then?
I bet they shoot down the plane
It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics
To set you on your feet again
You say there is no replacement
There's not many like you to be found
Comics who have got plenty
With talent and feet on the ground

[Refrain]
Ah, ah-ah, ah, ah
Ah-ah-ah, ah

[Chorus]
So goodbye Stephen Colbert
Where the gods of comedy howl
You were kicked out of your place on Late Night tv
It sure is a kick in the bowels
Back to the howlin' old owl in the woods
Huntin' the horny-orange toad
Oh, You need to decide where your future lies
Beyond the yellow brick road

And the quiet river, full of flood,
Carries its sticks from eddy to eddy
Until at last
They find rest
On the soft, silent bottom of the sea.

We have all recently been taught that the universe is expanding but if one takes a deep dive into Einstein's statistical universe it is an illusion of time from our perspective. This is because the universe is dispersed like a sponge with great voids surrounded by dense filaments of visible and dark matter that slows time but the voids have an opposite effect on time . The farther you measure through many voids to a distant point the more time will be skewed to our point of view.

The universe is not expanding in the way we first thought, based on Nobel Prize-winning ideas regarding Type 1A supernovas. We jumped at the clear illusion because we tend to think all regions of space are the same as where we are. We don't live in voids. Time is very different there.

It just goes to show ya how easy we jump at the Occam Razor solution when in fact there are forces beyond our first thought that are not obvious.

In a nutshell, there is expansion but not the exaggerated acceleration blamed on an unknown dark energy. I have also theorized that the inflation theory is primarily an illusion due to time dilation caused by mass and gravity.
Like an optical illusion, there are time illusions.
Enormous null voids contribute to the illusion. Similar to an atom or a bubble, the largest structures in the universe are empty.
These illusions are enticing, but like early Copernican thought that the Earth was the center of the universe, it is a trick of our mind's perspective.

Thanks to black holes, we have had about a hundred years to think in terms of space having no speed limit and time being so maluable as to be beyond absurdity. It has shown us that the nature of nature can be absurd from our perspective.

When time ends at the singularity region, it transforms under incredible pressure into dark matter that wormholes its way into the universe. Meanwhile, the compressed matter transforms into a space-time that is independent of gravity.

If you find that this switching is bizarre you will find that Roger Penrose has been honored for his diagrams showing how this is done.

“This Kills Big Oil in One Stroke”: Record-Breaking Solar Tech Slashes Hydrogen Costs by 70% and Sparks Energy Industry Uproar
In a groundbreaking advancement poised to revolutionize renewable energy, Chinese researchers have developed a novel method for solar-to-hydrogen conversion that dramatically enhances efficiency and reduces costs, potentially transforming the future of sustainable energy production.

It's your classic interesting science engineering article that is way over most of our heads.
The implications of this breakthrough are far-reaching. The ability to produce low-cost green hydrogen directly from seawater positions CZTS as a cornerstone for sustainable solar fuels and a circular hydrogen economy. This innovation could potentially redefine how we approach energy sustainability, aligning with global efforts to reduce carbon footprints and combat climate change.

With the PSLE strategy, the path to gigawatt-scale clean energy production becomes more tangible. As researchers continue to refine and enhance this method, the potential for widespread application becomes increasingly viable. The future of energy is indeed promising, as we inch closer to realizing a greener and more sustainable world.

WOW fertilizer and safe hydrogen fuel from solar cells and seawater?!

European news is not incumbered by big oil as American media seems to be.

Bad move for US tariffs on China if cheap energy is desired.
Meanwhile, Trump has defunded all climate change research and remediation programs.

Guess who will probably make Hydrogen hybrid electric cars?

Let's hope this is as earth-shattering as it sounds.

Which fort did you see?

Science is a meticulous pain in the ass. It offers no guarantees that it will ideally advance our future, but it has had successes in our past. It has always done so in a nonlinear fashion. The challenge is whether it is employed as a weapon or a wonder for our lives. The defunding of science via the white christian nationalist project 2025 is like retreating to religious tribalism that troglodytes experienced in prehistory, all the way through the Renaissance.

Some may blame ourselves for being vulnerable to con men and psychopaths. That is a fault of our evolution and not each individual's philosophy. In today's atmosphere, we might even relitigate the Scopes monkey trial.

Insulated groups in the military-industrial congressional complex
have created the greatest threat to trust in government. If trust can be reclaimed in the government by way of honest disclosure, we may have a chance to advance science naturally.

Science is a close race, and America has been penalized by the Trump administration.

Somewhat lost in the mist of historic ancestry is the remarkable, if not impossible, joining of the last descendant of Jesus and an Austrian ancestor of Hitler.

The Scottish McLeod family had protection from the Knights Templar in their time as the remaining descendants of Jesus, whose earlier roots had been in France. The small Island in the north of Scotland had suffered greatly in WWII by losing 1,000 of its young men. Then, at war's end, the drowning of 200 returning soldiers in the Stornaway harbor sinking of their ship. That left Mary McLeod, born in 1917, the last descendant.

In Germany, the Drumpf family had maternal descendants in Austria who included Maria Anna Schicklgruber: Adolf Hitler's paternal grandmother. A sister of Maria Anna, Gretchen had one child out of wedlock, who was Fred Trump's grandfather.

What do you get from the union of Hitler genes and Christ? Apparently, you get an amoral monster called Donald John Trump.

The early root family of the Scottish McCleods was known as Saint Nuages in France and was defended by De Molay and associates.

In Germany, great-great-grandfather Drumpf was known to be an influential pimp.

As much as Donald Trump wants to brag about his German heritage, he has been advised to hide that side of his family.

GRANDFATHER Drumpf fled Bavaria to avoid the draft (soud familiar?) and went to the Klondike. He found gold by opening the "Arctic Hotel", a wayside tavern/brothel on the way to Dawson City. He took his "earnings" to NYC, where he bought real estate. Visiting Germany, he was to be arrested for draft-dodging but apparently money changed hands and he was allowed to return to the US.

Nice family. Makes me cautious about being an American of German descent.

I had another new idea this morning. Just like adding sound to movies changed everything about the motion picture business, a leap in technology could change movies forever. A big screen will not be required. Instead, streaming data to 8K visual googles with a controller will allow the viewer to change their POV and move about with freedom.
The 'film' would never be the same twice with each viewing or among different observers. You could even move around an object or person that might block your view of something.

In this artificial holographic world, you become a participant in a brand-new way. Cameras would be both visual and laser scanners. The rendering would be AI. The theatres would own the googles, data, controllers, and headphones that would also have POV volume.

While some people would enjoy looking at a dynamic sunset from a mountaintop, others might dare to peer down the cliffside. I think you get the idea and possibilities now.

This could change motion pictures just like my idea for phone-controlled doorbells changed the doorbell.

My experience is that the internet has many examples of REAL; fraud, cons, exploitation, uninformed opinions, and that YouTube will not remove such posts.

While there are wonderful posts on YouTube, the lies, exaggerations, and criminal fraud are tolerated with equal time. You know, just like MOABS.

There are red flag warnings on some posts, which is an improvement.

Just got forward to the hydrogen-from-sunlight entry, and had to make this comment before continuing. There's two things (other than Big Oil money) that'll kill using hydrogen for fuel, except under extremely specialised circumstances like rocketry:

1) Hydrogen leaks like the bugger. The standard way to find a leak in a cryo situation (eg cooling down superconducting magnets) is to test for a helium leak, as it's almost as good at finding the least little leak as hydrogen, and it's easier to detect helium in vanishingly small amounts as there's not much of it in breathable air.

2) When hydrogen burns in air, the flame is invisible to the naked eye. The standard way in NASA of checking whether (and where) there's a hydrogen leak that's aflame is to carry a brush broom in front of yourself, bristles first, and see whether that catches fire.*

Put those two together, and *foom*. And *that*, medames et messieurs, is why the idea of using hydrogen as fuel gets, erm, shot down every time it's put forward, which is about once a decade.

* Perhaps that's where Sir Pterry got the idea from for CMOT Dibbler's patented dragon detector.

Heads-up VR cinema: methinks that'll go down as well as 3D glasses (something else that comes around once a decade or two). And that's before you factor in the nausea induced by the millisecond lag between the user's head moving and the picture adjusting to compensate, which is what sank it for military use in the trenches. Remember the expression "glassholes" .... ?

Nice try, Donuel, but no cookie. You'd only throw it up.

Question of the Day: Why do all the Wall Street traders need to applaud every time someone rings a bell? As a separate but related question, why do they feel the need to take selfies every time? It's not as if exactly the same thing won't happen at the same time the next working trading day.

The bell is a symbol of survival and predictability. It is an expensive privilege to be the group to ring the bell. It's a box of chocolates, they don't know if the day will soar or crash at closing.

History of the NYSE bell
Early Days: The initial method for signaling the start and end of trading at the NYSE was a gavel.
Transition to gong: In the late 1800s, the gavel was replaced with a gong.
Iconic brass bell: In 1903, the NYSE moved to its current location and installed an electrically operated brass bell that has become the iconic symbol we know today.
Modern era: While the physical bell is still present, the act of "ringing" the bell is now typically initiated by pressing a large button on the podium.
Even with the rise of electronic trading, the tradition of ringing the NYSE bell persists and holds significant symbolic value for both the financial world and the broader public.

If you train yourself to speed up your perception, you can see the individual flashes of fluorescent lights. Some baseball players can see a fastball at a slower rate. Seeing individual flashes does not work on LED fluorescent tubes, since I believe there aren't any. I speculate that other dimensions have their own unique temporal rates still within the Planck scale. You may have seen the STNG plots based on different time dimensions. Suppose a dimension has a time signature so unique that it is adjacent to all regions of space without elapsed time. It would be very useful in sci-fi scenarios.

I don't know why, but I can see one particular bar of ceiling lights in the kitchen coming on in two steps, maybe 100ms apart, where nobody else seems to. But then the first time I saw The Sound Of Music in the cinema, I saw the trees judder between frames in the panning aerial shot in the opening sequence. I don't *think* I've trained myself particularly, but I used to be able to spot missing lines in MSDOS boot-up message sequences ("Ah! *that* line's missing, so you're missing *this* driver").

Its so unseasonably cool this week. I've seen more pumpkin spice at the grocery and drug store already.

As for my metaphysics hobby, I am firmly in the camp that the UFO technology is manipulating space and time. We manipulate matter and energy much to the aggravation of non-human intelligences.

Whether their mastery of time is great or small, I do not know, although some think the 'aliens' don't want to harm us because they would be subject to the grandfather paradox hazard. That implies a great mastery, but they could simply coexist with our timeline without time travel. Then their time manipulation would be technologically smaller.

Along with time manipulation is the phenomenon that nothing in our dominion can be locked away from them. They would have full access to everything since there would not be a vault that would be impenetrable.

Every impossible thing witnessed is a clue that there is more we don't know and a pointer to new knowledge yet to be understood.

Good morning our Capitol how are ya?
now that troops direct your every move.
All the checkpoints and arrests are fairly heavy.
Many will be gone when the day is done.

School kids and workers try to hide
the fear and worry goes far and wide
the police take over is on the news
and is watched in case relatives disappear.

The fear and loathing makes citizens sad and blue.

He was an old thin skinned man
They said he had a smile.
So I went online and followed him awhile
I don't know what they're thinking
He even cheats at golf and con man deals
He's taxing us making profits when he steals
He's killing me harshly with his wrongs
Killing me harshly, with his wrongs.
Killing me harshly
with his wrongs
