Having recently returned from the George And Dragon, where we were celebrating Mrs Cobble's birthday and the arrival of Micca and catsPHiddle up here, we discovered a slightly worrying side to Geoff The Duck. People, I appeal to you now, NEVER mix Geoff the Duck, a drinking straw and Tina Turner's "Simply The Best"! The result is quite strange.

First, he got up and started dancing. Nothing worrying about that, you may think, but then he took the straw, held it upright on the table and began dancing with the straw, putting his leg on the table!

Mrs Duck was not around at the time, so when she returned, he did it again! Maybe we have discovered his secret career! (Only joking, Geoff!)

Thankfully, there were no digital cameras around at the time to record the event for posterity.

I was right behind him at buttock level when he did it! No wonder I didn't sleep well last night, and my poor eyes will never be the same again! Actually I thought the landlady took it very well when she was told what he'd been up to.

Catspaw - I think you get the balance about right on most subjects.
As for Pole Dancing, It cannot be done correctly unless you have the Red leather wellies and a peacock feather in your hat. - Much in the way you cannot do Lapp dancing without the patterened knitted boots and the parka......
Anyway - I was just an innocent bystander.........
Quack!

All I'm saying is that he should have been perfectly immobile if no one had lit the candle in the biscuit tin! If he does it again, threaten his banjo.
