Maybe I should have called this thread "So THAT'S what they mean by 'clawhammering' a banjo!"

Look here

You might have a few seconds wait while it loads; then scroll up.

Me? I'd just take a b&*%&!^ clawhammer to the b&*%&!^ thing (no, the banjo, not the cat, cats are cool... :) ). Either I'm a damned Luddite, or a visionary prophet, depends on yer p-o-v... ;)

McGrath, Just copy the image to your hard disk and print it out on a T-shirt transfer using a color inkjet printer. Viola! [sic] a clawhammer T-shirt.

Mine was the only other bid (non-winning).

I was intrigued because my grandfather was a cartoonist and illustrator and got his start in Japan prior to the turn of the last century (around what looks to be the vintage of the card), to say nothing of the fact that I play banjo, the Mikado was a family favorite when I was growing up, and I'm a fan of cats! Still, I wasn't willing to put out the big bucks. I have copped a copy of the digital photo, though!

Great minds think alike, Mark. I'd already saved it and done a trial printout with just that in mind. There's a facility down at our local PC world for doing a photocopy onto a T-shirt.

Now what colour T-shirt would it work best on...

That cat is on morphine by the look of it. Or maybe that fence is how he reaches the high notes.
