There's no special need for external links; the song has been discussed here a fair few times in the past (see "lyrics & knowledge search" at the top of every page). "Chords" depend on what key you want to sing it in, I suppose; unless you're one of those guitarists who can only play in one key but owns a capo.

The poster needs the chords. Are they on the Mudcat, Malcolm?

I don't play the guitar, and wouldn't know a "chord" if it bit me. Over to you, I think.

I will have to get to that when I have a guitar with me. I must needs use the English version because I do not know how to pronounce Gaelic words (other that a few rude ones taught to me by an Irish ne'er-do-well whom I met in Montreal during the early 1970s). Thank you very much, Malcolm.

And Malcolm Douglas, the Anti-Gael, strikes again.

I don't see what your complaint about Malcolm Douglas is
He has been helpful on several Gaelic song threads and he has provided a useful link on this one

Malcolm is an excellent researcher, nice guy and one of the more helpful people on this forum when it comes to music--all aspects of it. That man has forgot more than most of us are ever gonna know when it comes to certain types of traditional music--and he ain't forgot any of it. Please don't bug him.
