At last, I got my computer back on line. I got some virus, but I think it is okei now. Did I miss something????????

Welcome back, Skarpi! You did indeed miss quite a bit about Catspaw. We almost lost him, literally. He was in and out of hospital and it was very touch and go. Thankfully, he is home, getting better, and just celebrated his 50th birthday, yesterday.

For more, check back through the threads. There were over 500 postings about Catspaw throughout the whole ordeal. It really brought this community together in such a profound way. There are threads about Catspaw's recovery, where donations could be sent, about his relapse, etc.

We've been very careful, though, not to refresh any of the early threads where we thought he was not going to make it through, because it is too scary for any of us to see them and think that something might be happening, again.

Glad your computer is better and that you are back!

Catspaw nearly died. Big Mick won a labor battle at a supermarket. Sandy's father is 100. Art moved from one house to another. Some people are going to Montana this Summer and others are going to New Jersey. George is in Toronto, Frank is coming to New York. And everybody listens to Rick's radio show. One other thing is happening but you're going to have to find out about that yourself.

scarpi -- Iceland question. I read once (somewhere around the Fischer-Spassky match) that Iceland had one day a week when there was no television. Thursday I think it was. Is this enlightened idea still true? Or was it ever true?

My dear friends, I am very glad to hear from you all. My computer is back on line and Catspaw I am very glad that you are Okey and may God always be with you.

Dan, the weather in Iceland is good on the east side but bad on the west side, and the salmon fishing is on and we are having a good fishing.

Peter T, Yes once upon a time ??????? we had one day without television, but that was many years ago, now we have six channel in Iceland and also all the foreign channels, so it is true when Fisher and Spassky match we didint have telev on thursday.
