Subject: RE: BS: Distopian World Cup From: Stilly River Sage Date: 11 Jun 26 - 10:10 AM So far stories I've heard about it have to do with how much the organization hopes to make selling tickets and merch. Even as the Drumpf administration does everything it can to make things difficult for international visitors. The stadium in LA is set for games and the folks there have contingencies for if ICE tries to arrest employees working the event. |

Subject: RE: BS: World Cup From: cujimmy Date: 12 Jun 26 - 04:32 AM The Satanic one intends to attend the Scotland games - "what could possibly go wrong", He attended the NBA final in NY a few days ago, his security squad took up a significant area of the stadium and ordinary fans had to move from their seats. There were private security men patrolling a wide area outside the stadium, stopping people in the street etc. He is not very popular in most countries but more especially in Scotland after what he did to people in Aberdeenshire near his golf course trying to force them to move away from the area. Ive got a friend over there and he will be at all the Scotland games so he will relate to me the welcome they will give him - the clap over the head with a shovel if they can get near enough. |

Subject: RE: BS: World Cup From: Backwoodsman Date: 06 Jul 26 - 02:25 AM The reversal of Balogun’s suspension is a perfect indicator, if one were needed, of how deep the corruption goes within FIFA. Shameless, and utterly shameful. Wonder what kind of bung Infantino received from the fat, ugly, orange bastard. Congratulations to England on what sounds to have been a great win. Mrs. Backwoodsperson and I were in the Land of Nod, safely tucked up in bed (she has to be up at 05:45 for work) but the SkyQ box recorded it, and we will watch it tonight. Subject: RE: BS: World Cup From: Rain Dog Date: 06 Jul 26 - 07:44 PM Red and yellow cards were only introduced in 1970 I believe. You are correct that a sending off suspension was reversed in 1962. Listening to Trump it would appear that he knows next to nothing about football. He did once tell Jimmy Greaves that he had played football (or soccer as he called it) when he was younger. I tend not to believe a word that he says. Teams were told that they could not appeal against red cards. All except one team it seems. Maybe England might appeal against last nights red card. |

Subject: RE: BS: World Cup From: Bill D Date: 07 Jul 26 - 10:28 AM It's nice that the US did so well this time, but not even Trump and an overturned red card could deal with just meeting a better team. Belgium just played like a team that might go all the way. It's interesting to me that the major national teams all have players who come from other countries. Places like Panama, Haiti, Curaçao and Uzbekistan don't get many immigrants. Even Balogun was only eligible for the US because he was born in Brooklyn while his Nigerian mother was visiting. |

A faux Peace Prize leader, who wrote the Art of the Deal, he's negotiating your freedom, going to make an appeal. He's deeply loved by FIFA, Adored by Infantino. and if he asks for a favor, Jesus will turn water into Vino. So you stepped on an ankle? You're banned from a game? Tell Donald Trump, and he'll switch around the blame. Tell the Old Grifter, Let him advocate for you. That red card will be lifted, He'll make your dreams come true. Well you're back in the game, Belgium is waiting on their chance Now Its all up to you, So dont shit your pants. Belgium scored four goals, and your team scored only one. You lost ankle stepper!
