Subject: RE: 1st Annual Civil War Heritage Music Fest From: Banjer Date: 27 Jul 02 - 06:04 AM Sounds great, but I'm afraid the $40 a would leave us out even if we did live close enough to attend. For my reenactment unit that would mean $640, plus incidentals. T'would seem if the goal is to 'preserve and pass on to the younger generation' they could make it a bit more affordable! |

Subject: RE: 1st Annual Civil War Heritage Music Fest From: SharonA Date: 29 Jul 02 - 09:55 AM It does sound great, but I wish the website had said more about overnight accommodations for non-reenactors (whether there's a place reserved for camping trailers, links to local motels and B&B's, etc.).... or is this an event solely for the benefit of Civil War reenactors? |

Subject: RE: 1st Annual Civil War Heritage Music Fest From: Just another Dave Date: 30 Jul 02 - 10:23 AM Hi kat -- Thanks for the blue clicky. SharonA - I also expressed an interest in accomodations and was pointed to this site by the organizers: (maybe kat could do the blue clicky for this) It is the website for the Windham Chamber of Commerce and lists not only places to stay, but also restaurants, and other "exciting" things to do in the Windham area. Dave
no problem, JADave:-) |

Subject: RE: 1st Annual Civil War Heritage Music Fest From: Just another Dave Date: 31 Jul 02 - 04:44 PM Thanks kat! I really should learn how to do the thing myself, but I hardly ever post. (I've been lurking here in one form or another for a long time and have only posted five or six times!!) Rich and Dee might find these sites interesting: |
