Subject: BS: Thanks Hull Mudcatters and Skipjack!
From: Rt Revd Sir jOhn from Hull
Date: 10 May 05 - 12:27 PM

As a few of you know, Ive had a few problems recently, lost my job, almost lost my home, etc. (company I was working at for over 10 years is going bust, and I recieved an eviction order 2 weeks ago).

But I started a new job yesterday, and have managed to keep my home. This would not have been possible without the help of some very good freinds that helped me out in various ways in the last few weeks, and my sincerest thanks go to them, they are Les from Hull and Mick Ossonflags , both helped me apply for jobs, fill forms out, write letters etc. And Flamenco Ted and Skipjack8, between them they lent me the money for my rent, Ted invited me round for meals a few times while I was skint, Skipjack came to see me one day last week, and took me for a pint, I mentioned to him that there is not many jobs in Hull, they all seem to be out of town, he straight away said=
"If you find a job out of town, you can borrow my car to get there, I was thinking of getting a new one anyway!", Waht a thorooughly good bloke!
Fortunately I got a job in Hull, but his offer was very appreciated.

I can,t stress how gratefull I am to these people, without them, I could quite possibly be living in a doorway or a homeless shelter now.

BIG WRITING= THANKS GUYS!!!

jOhn

As I said in the other thread... good for you John - we've missed you here!

A good friend is a very hard thing to find.. most of them disappear when you really need them - we're truly blessed to know these folks.
