Subject: BS: Sickest Spam From: Don(Wyziwyg)T Date: 09 Sep 05 - 03:49 AM This appeared in my Inbox this morning, from someone calling herself Enid Russo. News|etter - September Issue, 2005 In September's issue we are going to profi|e a company involved in the Red Hot homeland security sector. This company's st0ck is very much undervalued considering the potential of the industry and the position of the company. (The perfect time to get in) This is opportunism carried to immoral lengths. Subject: RE: BS: Sickest Spam From: Amos Date: 09 Sep 05 - 09:30 AM Don is upset to find spam in his electronic mail promoting that he invest in a stock, and referring to our current domestic quagmire as "the red-hot Homeland security sector". It's kind of like promoting an airplane company near 1938 Berlin as being a good investment because they are part of the "red-hot war machine sector" -- it quacks of blind immorality. A |

Subject: RE: BS: Sickest Spam From: Cluin Date: 09 Sep 05 - 04:19 PM I got this same spam yesterday. Made it through my filter, but I didn't even read the first line of it before I hit DELETE. |

Subject: RE: BS: Sickest Spam From: Stilly River Sage Date: 10 Sep 05 - 12:38 PM I never read that stuff. I can tell what is spam even when it occasionally gets past the filter. My advice: Delete it unopened. Don't get upset by it. SRS |

Subject: RE: BS: Sickest Spam From: MarkS Date: 10 Sep 05 - 10:30 PM Don't forget the dozens of bogus sites posing as charities helping out Katrina victims. Many ask for your credit card information so you can contribute. These guys are phishing and pharming - many of these sites are offshore in Brazil and China. |
