BBC report UK bank bosses are very sorry. But they denied personal responsibility.

I don't get it! How can you apologise and say you are NOT responsible in the same interview? Doesn't an apology indicate you believe you are responsible?

They lost millions too, the poor sods

Then the wankers go on to announce job cuts. Guardian report That is gonna help who, exactly?

Conventional banks did not cause the problem.

Investment bankers are a different animal and are accustomed to huge returns that are, in the long run, unreasonble

George Soros has made about 20% return on investments and that includes his whole career back to 1969. 20% per year!

The "big oil" companies actually make a real tangible product and return only 5% to 6% per year, although Exxon-Mobil made 9% for a short time, it got them "bad press" as a result.

The "investor class" is an elite bunch, many like Bernie Madoff are outright crooks. They also have far too many "friends " in our government who share their profits and make sure that the "light of day" does not shine on these parasites.

They probably owe so much money to those parasites that they don't dare expose them. The governments are themselves in hock to the moneylenders.

It is like the great depression. What's next? Are people going to start flinging themselves off of buildings?

Could we fling the bank bosses off of their respective buildings? May not appease the gods, but sure would make their victims feel a wee bit better.

Maybe all their assets should be taken off them and paid to the Government, to be given back to teh general public in the form of tax reductions.

Gonna end up like it was back in the Depression and earlier: bank robbers will be protected by the people because they are seen as being on the people's side by robbing banks which have it coming to them.

Aw, leave them alone. They were doing their best. After all, the poor dears weren't even qualified!One of them has explained that he didn't understand the things he was dealing with , and they said they were very very sorry (That means really really sorry!)so that's alright then .We shouldn't really shout at them.................

But I suspect there's a much better chance in the US system that some of these crooks are going to have to spend time behind bars.

I only hope that Obama is a guiding light in the world and sets a good example by showing us how to run a country in a more sustainable way in all respects.
