Subject: RE: BS: Has anyone seen this yet? From: katlaughing Date: 22 May 03 - 10:58 AM This is so sick! We live about 10 miles from where Mike lived. They just got done with their annual event in his honour, last weekend; parade with pets dressed as chickens, cookouts, officious officials ponticating, some kind of music (no! I didn't go!). It turns my stomach. The stupid town has headless chicken statues all over, etc. You'd think they'd come up with something less repulsive to put their little village on the map, but oh no, not those rubes!! My own cousin lives there!! Wankers! There, I feel better.**bg** katFreeTheChickens!! |

Subject: RE: BS: Has anyone seen this yet? From: the lemonade lady Date: 23 May 03 - 04:50 AM This is a free site... I was just interested to find out how others felt about this. I actually heard about the site on Radio 2 here in UK and thought it sick myself. I'm a veggie and feel good ol' Mike got one over on the meat eaters. I'ts a pity animals can't regenerate bits of their bodies so that they don't have to die to satisfy those who believe they can't do without meat. Hmmm. Sal |

Subject: RE: BS: Has anyone seen this yet? From: katlaughing Date: 23 May 03 - 10:53 AM I'm a veggie, too, Ms. Lemon, that's why it bothered me. Though, I have to confess, I didn't remember the Song Challenge, nor that I'd posted to it. I don't have any explanation for it not bothering me much then, except that I live so close to there, now, and hear all of the hype leading up to the *celebration* which is off-putting, imo. Anyway, there were a couple of fine songs written by Mudcatters, despite my not liking the subject. I esp. liked Aidan's since Mike got his head back in heaven! Thanks, kat |

Subject: RE: BS: Has anyone seen this yet? From: Little Hawk Date: 23 May 03 - 12:44 PM Weird. Gross. Funny. Horrifying. Unexpected. It it works on a rooster, perhaps it would work on a politician as well. - LH |
