Shatner has that certain elusive ability to cross all cultural barriers seamlessly, leaving people gasping in his wake. He really should run for President, but the office is not large enough to hold him, so why bother?

He's not just practising on 'The Practise'. He's got his own show, also by that medium-talent David Kelley, called 'Boston Legal'. As usual it substitutes sexual outuendo and legal eye-candy du jour to simulate thought provocation, but wotthehell wotthehell. It's got some telegenic actors.

I assume this cereal he advertises is full of bran? Or did the marketers figure that they could save a fortune by not putting any in and just having Shatner do the ads?
