They're all a long way from Stratford aren't they? There's the Chevy Chase at Maryland Point on Thursday nights.

Or do you mean Stratford-upon-Avon?

You wouldn't believe the amount of people who would wander into the library at Stratford, asking for directions to Shakespeares' house... we would start by telling them to get onto the North Circular and turning right up the M1....

I got all excited then thinking you were going to be here and we could arrange something, but now I know you're not, I'll just wait for the boiler man to come instead.

cresby.com lists a few things and links to as many lists as possible. Like Warwich FC Fri (it is in the County Council Canteen I believe) and Redditch FC Sat - but ring first - it is in the St John Ambulance Rooms. There are many sessions based on Sunday in the North Cotswolds.

Let me know if you find any not listed or out of date.

Speaking of t'other Stratford, where and when does a new Londoner get to play with the other London mudcatters, eh?! (Well, there's always Loughstock I suppose!)

Fibs, my link above is to the nearest music session to you. It's a small intimate gathering and not at all heavy going musically although we do get some pretty good players visiting from time to time.

We'll arrange a session at the Black Lion if you'd like a Sunday afternoon (not a day when West Ham are at home though....) session.

Let us know when would be good and we'll see what we can do.

You're welcome over any time, and we won't steal your bag!

Not what I'd call folky, but I know people who would: Cox's Yard, Stratford.

Accept no tawdry Cockney imitations
