Subject: Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal From: Stilly River Sage Date: 24 Mar 26 - 10:53 AM The current longest thread count for BS threads is 700, so here is the next one topical thread about all things Trump. Drumpf (or Drumpft) are the German versions of the name. It's a good time to remind him and everyone that his family were also immigrants to the US. Only one Trump/US politics thread at a time, just like we try to keep it to one UK politics thread at a time. Thanks for sticking with that policy. :) Last thread. |

Subject: RE: Drumpf - Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal* From: Helen Date: 25 Mar 26 - 01:35 PM Another glimmer of hope. Democrats flip seat in Florida district home to Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort "In short: The Democrats claim the seat that was won by a Republican by 19 percentage points in 2024. "It is the latest vote in recent months that will cause concern for Donald Trump and his party ahead of the midterm elections. "The president *voted by mail* in the special election despite publicly bashing the method as a source of fraud." [* LOL] It's a short article, but worth reading IMHO. |

Subject: RE: Drumpf - Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal* From: MaJoC the Filk Date: 25 Mar 26 - 02:29 PM .... can't .... resist .... When I saw "Democrats flip seat", I immediately thought of the Little Führer's Room in Mar-a-Lago, complete with top-secret bog paper. The sooner this shitshow can be flushed, the better for the Free World (and the USSA). |

Subject: RE: Drumpf - Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal* From: Lighter Date: 25 Mar 26 - 02:59 PM Iran is about 645,000 square miles in area. For comparison: Iwo Jima (10 sq. m.) required 70,000 troops (plus immense naval support). About 25,000 marines became casualties. The battle lasted more than a month. It took a quarter million combat troops nearly three months to seize Okinawa, 465 sq. m. They suffered about 80,000 casualties. . |

Subject: RE: Drumpf - Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal* From: r.padgett Date: 26 Mar 26 - 03:06 AM now lets get this straight Trump used the US army as a private army ~ he did not have the approval of Congress He was persuaded by Netanyahu to invade Iran Trump and Netanyahu did not like the fact that Iran had nuclear weapons or close to Now it is one thing gaining armed superiority in a country and then killing all their leaders and then having as an afterthought no one in charge to talk and negotiate with Big T is responsible for this invasion on a country that was close to gaining agreement before all this mayhem Iran is fighting for its survival with finger nails and will continue to do so Big T continues to make demands as a bully would and Iran giving two fingers to this moron No negotiations say Iran are in progress ~ Big T lies again and again money and stock exchange talks and place in world hierarchy ~ Ray (Uk) yes US needs to pay for damage done to IRAN pronto |

Subject: RE: Drumpf - Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal* From: r.padgett Date: 26 Mar 26 - 11:23 AM Looking for pace deal ~ well Big T started all this I ask you does UK, France, Spain and other countries not have a right to develop nuclear weapons? I suppose it depends on whether it is thought that they are likely to use them in an offensive way Big T and his men continue to spout lies and Fake news See above ~ yes peace and less of the biggy talk needed from Big T and treat Iran as a sovereign nation of 90 million ~ he talks bullying self flattering nonsense Never mind the bully 15 point plan imposition Take account of what Iran the oppressed nation is saying Ray |

Subject: RE: Drumpf - Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal* From: r.padgett Date: 26 Mar 26 - 11:28 AM I find the Epstein saga a newspaper selling fiasco I am not really interested and those concerned have to live with this dead, evil man's ways and deeds I will not question the motives of those women caught up in this but seems it does not hold them up to scrutiny either Ray |

Subject: RE: Drumpf - Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal* From: Donuel Date: 26 Mar 26 - 01:21 PM Shell and Chevron are teaming up to exploit the largest proven oil field on Earth. Venezuelan oil is heavy crude and not sweet crude. Iran's crude is sweeter. The strategy of the 300 at Thermopylae is being used by Iran/Persia at Hormuz. |

Subject: RE: Drumpf - Epstein Friend/ US Prez 47/ War Criminal* From: robomatic Date: 26 Mar 26 - 02:00 PM The problem with "One TRMP thread at a time" is that TRMP has made hisself a nexus of multiple topical events. I guess this can work if we don't go too far afield separating energy from European wars from Middle Eastern wars from religion from social warfare by which I mean the 'culture wars.'. On the other hand, TRMP has become a marvelous focus for all of the above. In Alaska, we have several current 'fallouts'. One is that our current senior Senator is a Republican, but has enough guts to represent not a genuine liberal POV, but a counter-TRMP opinion base, and so will for the foreseaable future, be getting votes of both major political parties. Her election also depends on Alaska still using the 'ranked choice voting system'. Ever since we voted it in, the ultra conservatives have been trying to get it eliminated. Not that I think TRMP is an idiot, I suspect that he doesn't understand how it works to personally bring it up, but he has minions to do that for him, and not the cute yellow ones. The last fallout on my mind is that with the fighting overseas, we're getting a bump in the price of oil, which will help us a bit, because I fear our tourist economy has not recovered as much as we hoped. We spend a lot of money even when we do it for actual valid maintenance products and schools. Just because we produce a lot of oil is no reason for us to root for conflict in the world. It is a part of our background environment we are usually aware of. We live in a strategically signiicant part of the world and have a big military presence, and a somewhat big military involvement, although right now I understand it involves the Marines which are not a big Alaska component. Still, we have a lot of aviation and are undoubtedly on some select target lists. |
