Subject: Obit: Cheney Poll Numbers Contest... From: Bobert Date: 08 Mar 06 - 08:45 PM I heard that some blogs now have contests on predicting how low Dick Cheney's approval ratings will go before they bottom out... Well, I know that this ain't no blog (is it?) but figured maybe we'd have a little fun like the blog folks.... So, how low and Dick Cheney go??? |

Subject: RE: BS: Cheney Poll Numbers Contest... From: Greg F. Date: 09 Mar 06 - 08:51 AM No prob- he'll rebound soon. You gotta have faith in the brain-dead electorate- look at the overwhelming vote for DeLay in Texas. (tho 'Texas' & 'brain-dead' may be somewhat redundant, reviewing the proud political & social history of the Lone Star State) |

Subject: RE: BS: Cheney Poll Numbers Contest... From: Teribus Date: 09 Mar 06 - 08:41 PM So he hasn't resigned yet then as many here predicted that he would. |

Subject: RE: BS: Cheney Poll Numbers Contest... From: Peace Date: 09 Mar 06 - 08:44 PM Many, Teribus? One is not many. |

Subject: RE: BS: Cheney Poll Numbers Contest... From: Bobert Date: 09 Mar 06 - 09:05 PM No, not even I even thought he might resign??? Bush??? Different story... The current job is the longest job he's even had before either going AWOL or ruining another business... Lets just say that he's like a starting pitcher who has thrown over 120 pitches and it's only the 6th inning... And, BTW, alot of those pitches were wild pitches... |

Subject: RE: BS: Cheney Poll Numbers Contest... From: Peace Date: 09 Mar 06 - 09:07 PM Of course, in a crowd of one, one would be many, lots, some and any. In fact, one would be all, which reminds me of the three muskateers. Back later when the thread needs some drift. |

Subject: RE: BS: Cheney Poll Numbers Contest... From: Ron Davies Date: 10 Mar 06 - 09:45 PM Teribus-- With your patented Bushite denial technique-- (perhaps you'd like to give a seminar)-- you seem to have not noticed that most of us who oppose Bush don't want Cheney to resign--he's just fine where he is--as #1 engine of liberal fundraising and a target of anybody who wants to point to the despicable record of the Bush regime. |
