Just got back from St Albans Festival all going very well. Don't forget Second Sunday, St Albans at The Rose and Crown, coming up it's New Roots Finalists so always well worth coming to see, and support is always welcome and gratefully recived. Speaking of which, don't forget Winkwell this afternoon 4.00 till 7.00pm and The King Harry in St Albans on Tuesday night. TTFN

The Three Horseshoes in Winkwell goes berserk this weekend with sessions Thursday evening - 24th, Saturday 26th - midday to midnight and Sunday 27th - midday to early evening

Cheers Hamish and Cathy. I was off the Mudcat for a while, but now I am back. We are having a rest this Thursday after all the fun of the weekend. Thanks to all who came, it was a nice mix of old friends and some new people as well, so hope they all come back. See you all the last Thursday and last Sunday on August after Towersey. YIPPEE. September is our next and final Wild Wacky Weekend this year. TTFN.

No - but it's the pub to the west side of the road on the canal opposite that builder's yard. Turn off the A4251 beside the Texaco filling station down the very narrow road and it's just over the swing bridge on the canal.
