Subject: RE: BS: 58% of Florida Democrats like Eastwood From: pdq Date: 03 Sep 12 - 07:06 PM With Paul Newman and Charlton Heston gone, Clint Eastwood is as close to a real Hollywood star as we have today. Burt Reynolds probably sold more tickets and Dustin Hoffman may be a better classic actor, but Clint is an icon. |

Subject: RE: BS: 58% of Florida Democrats like Eastwood From: Janie Date: 03 Sep 12 - 07:19 PM Gotta confess I have a delicate psyche and avoided most of his movies as a bit more violent than I could stomach. However, had a terrific crush on him as a young girl who never missed an episode of "Rawhide." |

Subject: RE: BS: 58% of Florida Democrats like Eastwood From: pdq Date: 03 Sep 12 - 09:14 PM George Kennedy could do comedy if he wanted, but in that movie he is a bit scary. I think he was a real live combat vetran in the Marines. |

Subject: RE: BS: 58% of Florida Democrats like Eastwood From: Big Al Whittle Date: 03 Sep 12 - 11:32 PM Well bully for them. Personally I suddenly resent every minute I've watched his sodding movies and every cinema ticket I ever bought that put a dime in his pocket. The selfish bleeder is all about stealing from the poor, and base indifference to the ill and weakest in society - screw him and the horse he rode in on. |

Subject: RE: BS: 58% of Florida Democrats like Eastwood From: Ed T Date: 04 Sep 12 - 08:19 AM ""Florida (aka "God's Waiting Room") is also known for a natural phenomenon - the further north you travel the further south it seems"". (uncyclopedia) |

Subject: RE: BS: 58% of Florida Democrats like Eastwood From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 04 Sep 12 - 09:06 AM ...the further north you travel the further south it seems. It is the truth. While south and central Florida are largely populated by immigrants from foreign places like Cuba, Haiti, Michigan, Indiana, and Disney Studios, many north Floridians are just one or two generations removed from rural south Georgia and South Alabama. I am a second generation native Floridian, but my grandparents grew up on Georgia farms. I am also a token Democrat in an otherwise Republican wasteland, I only eat grits five or six times a year, and I can tawk lack Ah got uh moufull uh sumfin yoo wooden wanna hole in yer han, but I don't have to. |
