I agree Leadfingers, but it might all depend upon My guru always said's access to t'internet on Max's travels.

I personally think that Max should do it under the guise of " Max's Uk Tour Diary" to keep everyone informed and provide his own unique reaction and response to his Uk tour. There is no better person to do this than Max himself.
This would make this a highly personal and engaging memoire from Max to satisfy a strong interest and following from both sides of the pond.

So, over to you Max, could you do this and would you be willing to keep such a personal diary of your experience in the UK?

I think folk would love this if it is at all possible.

Just an idea.

I thank my Guru for the picture of me in the Max tee shirt. It will be too small for him though! I add that I have all my teeth not the one in the photo :>)
Hils link to the Flicker photos of our Capers at Old Keepers are brilliant though.
There will be a spot the spot discussion,and will it wash out later then I think :>)
Im so looking forward to meeting Max and I hope his stay with us wont be too detrimental to his well being!

I think that's one of the best piccies I have of Richard, he DOES look happy, doesn't he! And yes, there should be a 'spot the spot' competition, the Tshirt comes complete with one of 'Dick's quirks' *grin*

As Richard mentioned, that link takes you to our photopages where there are memories of our Easter Gathers over the past few years, you're very welcome to wander around and see who you can recognise...

Thanks for the reminder Chris, I will be totally offline from this Friday (20th) while we are pottering around with the caravan to Moira and Whitby through to Thursday 26th when we get back to the Cottage with Max. Anyone that needs me will have to try my mobile [phone], I'll have it switched off if I'm singing.

Regarding Max starting up another thread as a diary for his travels. I really hope he'll be able to do this, but will he find the time in his very packed Itinerary?

So, Max - if you're getting a chance to catch up with these threads before you set off (and I KNOW how busy you must be just now), please can you try to do a diary thread??

Yes, I agree. We already have more threads than necessary. I would like to see one thread that encompasses all the cities and events so it is easy to follow and to find later for posterity sake.

Absolutely we'll start a thread, and yes, it will be very personal. I have every intention to document the hell out of this trip. The content will be well publicized and easy to follow. We shall spare no expense of time and energy.

I'm feeling well prepared at the moment. I leave tomorrow, so time is running out. My family, friends and colleagues have been very supportive and helpful through all this, and I thank them. They also demand a memoir, so it shall be so.

I'm loving the floor spots and gigs and such. I'm walking around telling people that I'm a big star and going on tour in England and that my stage name is The King of Spain.

Though I am spotting some inside jokes that I do not get (Don), but I trust it will entertain someone and am happy to play along. I challenge you to put me in a spot that I can't handle with good humor and grace. ;)

Thanks again to all, I am really looking forward to all the hugs that are before me.

Huge thanks to everyone who has helped out with Max's Itinerary with either practical help or suggestions to make this dream a reality. You've made my 'job' much easier than I thought it might be when we started this project together.

I can have Tshirt marker pens at Towersey, they need to be ironed to fix them before you wash the shirt but they work pretty well... I just need to check they still work as it's been a while!

Now all I need to do is juggle my stewarding shifts so I actually get to see him and sort out this sinus infection that makes me look like a racoon on steroids.
