Subject: BS: A brief trip to Iceland From: kendall Date: 18 Jun 07 - 09:37 PM I was just watching a show on the fishing business in Iceland. I thought the north Atlantic was rough in this part of the world, but, MAN! from dead calm to 90 knots of wind in a matter of minutes? There was no time to prepare. No wonder they drink something called "Black Death" (Brenivin). Skarpi, I have a question. If only 15% of the population there is in the fishing business, what do the rest of you do? |

Subject: RE: BS: A brief trip to Iceland From: GUEST,Dani Date: 19 Jun 07 - 05:15 PM Shoot, I was thinking about finding a summer nanny gig in Iceland for my eldest next year. Maybe not?! The mild NC climate doesn't prepare one for much. All WE really need is the occasional Jack Daniels! Dani |
