On this, the eve of Groundhog day, I sit on my balcony with a friend and one of many Bottles of True North Lager. At plus three degrees and a slight brease from the north With 3 hours till kick off!


This is the best I've felt for 2.5 months!

This close to Detroit I get all kinds of US stations...

Beer? Well, I have a whole room centered around the consumption of Guinness in my basement... It's a great feeling having the Guinness truck pull up to my HOUSE once a month or so to deliver a new keg...

But I'm not really 'exclusionary' in my consumption...

The TV in my living room is stuck on one channel. This just happened this morning. I'll have to take the small tv from my kitchen into the living room, but it won't be the same. We just have some chips and dip, and most likely, I won't stay up for the whole thing.

I have two TVs: one 25 inch and one 27 inch. One is hooked up to cable. I might watch the history channel or the international history channel tonight.

This day has turned overcast, so I'm doing laundry. Another very good reason that I'm doing laundry is because I'm wearing my last clean tee shirt. I also have six more boxes of BOOKS!! BOOKS!! BOOKS!! to unload our in the car. And an awful lot of stuff to unpack and put away.

And I have beer and whiskey and whisky and wine and bison meat and chicken/basil/sundried tomato sausages and there's too damned much windchill for grilling outside.
