A friend loaned me a CD my Judith Edelman with a song called "Sailor Boy" which is listed as public domain. A very similar version is in the database as "Sailor's Life," recorded by Fairport Convention. Anybody have any provenance on this song? Thanks! -------------Kim

I can't help you with the specific recording, as I've never heard of Judith Edelman so I don't know which version she used.  I've put links to a number of online resources related to this song, though, in the Penguin Book thread:  A Sailor's Life  -you'll be able to pick up some background information there.
