In the Mudcat Cafe database, MacLennan SNR appears as a source for a folksong one of my faculty clients is interested in. I cannot find an allusion to this in my collection. Does anyone know which MacLennan this is, and what SNR stands for? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It's one of my cryptic annotations to my collection of Scottish rhymes that I sent to the DT. It means: R. J. MacLennan, Scottish Nursery Rhymes. London: Andrew Melrose, 1909. A short book of 65 pp., for children. I'd be interested in knowing which piece your client is researching.
