This is a non-post. Why you ask?

Night Owl may be one of the most active 'Catters in the joint and I know she reads threads in detail. Yet she rarely posts anymore.

Now I understand that.....really I do. I have cut back drastically myself and because I have over 19,000 posts on these threads, I have said about everything I have to say....repeatedly in many instances and I am not only boring as hell to others, but I'm boring myself as well!!!! As kat said, when she does post, she often has a lot to say, but on the other hand, I think we would benefit from her thoughts on any number of subjects as opposed to my thoughts which have been expressed on everydamnthing seventeen times at the minimum.

So this really isn't a post. It doesn't really exist. I am not giving any birthday greetings since to do so would require that I post. I will be happy to return and post such greetings if the Owl will come out and hoot a bit, but until then.........

       By pure chance I came across a thread you had replied to re: the song "dirty old town". In it you said your good friend Danny Burns sang the song... Would that be a Danny Burns originally from Belfast but died last year in Canada?.

Bringing this back to the top because there was a request on the Facebook announcement page for information about Night Owl. That isn't the place to make those connections, this Mudcat site is.

Here are her 983 posts, ending in 2003.

Nice to see some of the old names/faces when I read through a few of the threads where she posted. Like this one started by our late friend gnu.
