Very good CH - and to think you could have been Maria

Who was at Redbourn - what's the gossip?

Did you sing Handel's Messiah?

PA - Have we got our wellies waxed and shined

Very good Scrump. No, it was the 12 days of Christmas with actions.

It was very good of everyone to join in. I'd have looked a right twit on my own.

Wellies primed, tractor washed.

Abu Dhabi made it home at 10.00pm. Just told him he's off to Chile at 10.25am on Tuesday 02 January 2007 for a month via Montevideo, at the moment its a one-way ticket. He's looking nervous.

3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:
1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was no food.
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn'tget it.
3. And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was work
to do.

Have fun everybody, this is the PA signing off until next year XX

Apologies Cathy - on the email I wrote to you; I said I was going to the Redbourn Christmas party last night; when I knew I wasn't

At Redbourn Christine sang beautifully to requests from the audience, Martin arrived but didn't sing. Why?

What is the group name for dulcimers? I suppose that can't apply to a pair anyway. A duet of dulcimers.

And many other songs and jollities too.

No need to apologise Ross - I didn't think you were coming and that you had mistyped.

Life can treatcha kind or treatcha cruelle.

If everybody wished everybody a merry christmas individually and then a happy new year next week and what with the Christmas party on Wednesday etc etc, could this thread reach 200 by the end of the year?

Maybe that's a silly idea.

mind you..........

Very good Steve - if they put the magic tricks in with the yazoo....who knows what might happen.

That was a swell party with a great ambience. RossReport to come no doubt - I shan't pre-empt.

Where were you Martin? I had saved you 5 cheesy pringles, 4 cocktail sausages, 3 brandy truffles, 2 deep mince pies and a serviette to capture all the crumbs.

Hi

Nearly dropped off the front page again.

New Year's folk resolutions
- to improve on a selection of the 43 songs I have been learning to play and had a go at singing this year. I have been recording some of them - it is such a boooorrrring process. But I will have a CD, no compilation, for family history.

- to learn to play the piano accordian without using a mirror.

What are your musical New Year resolutions? Do tell.

I think I'll have to wear a skirt and put ribbons in my hair tonight. I have just given a neighbour a lift back from the shops and as he got out of the car, the ol' boy said 'I thought you were that woman who goes round dressed as a man'. Great.

Cathie, I too have been waiting for a parcel to arrive. Got lots of cards from Parcelforce telling me that they were trying to deliver it since 18 December - it was signed for by my neighbours daughter on the 21 December - she remembered yesterday!

She's got a gap, its between her ears.

Happy New Year PA.

I hope you had a good holiday, with Christmas Cracker Jokes to die for.

I am back at work today and have missed my afternoon snooze/power nap. What telly tonight! Celeb BB and desperate housewives. Yet it all has to be taped as we're all going to The Bull at Barton. I don't know if Des Housewives is a series repeat and hopefully Celeb BB will be as bad as last year. Too much.

Hi John. I gave Christine a copy of the photos from her night at the Comfort Hotel yesterday. You crop up grinning in most of them! Folk Frolics everywhere.
