If you mean me, I was hounded and grounded from this place. But that was a long time ago. I infowarred my way through here and came out the other side brutalized and disbelieved. No one wants to know the truth, not in any real way. Sensitive toed people should wear steel toed boots, but they'd rather just keep you from walking on their street.

I just looked in for a musical question and clicked on the forum, and there was this post. Howdy Bobert, if I'm the one you're talking about. I haven't posted here for a couple of years, but yeah, we used to back each others pristine logic against some rather uncalled-for mudslinging. A gentleman named Little Hawk had some insightful things to say, as I recall. A lot of hostility was directed at me, but I trust now YOU MORONS SEE I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE BUSH GANGSTER FAMILY! And how 'bout their latest urban renewal project on the Delta?

I wish you all well. What are these Blue Plate CDs, anyway? Samplers? Recordings by people on this site? Looks interesting.

Buy some and give them a listen, Guest. And not all Mudcatters support the Bush clan. Even the ones in Texas can find him pretty damned appalling.

Bobert, on what threads are you needing reinforcements? I've stopped reading as many, they've gotten too dogmatic and they're all the same any more.

Well, the "Bush (so-called) facts" one in particular... Yeah, I know I've had help but Texaas GUEST ust had/has a way of bringin' in the big guns... While I am happy to have one Texas GUEST show this mornin', I don't think he 'er she is the one I'm talkin' about... The one I am am talking about sent me a couple viseo's on 9/11, one of which I sent to another member....

Yeah, that was me Bobert. The Alex Jones video..."911, the Road to Tyranny". I sent that to half a dozen mudcatters, as I recall. That was a long time ago.

Anyway, I haven't been back to this forum in a couple of years. Lots of hostility, which I can get by talking to my family. But it was hostility in the good sense...questioning minds.

So, what do you need help on? What I've got in the habit of doing on forums is posting a generalization and then just adding to the thread as time goes by, when I find arguments in support of my initial claim. I hardly ever read other threads anymore, since I feel the urge to correct the INCREDIBLE DENIAL AND STUPIDITY expressed in them, and then there goes another half-hour.

I'm surprised to see that mudcat backlogs so many posts. Must be millions of them. Some of mine will be in there, and I need to dig a couple of them out, as they've been cyclically purged from other forums. One in particular I remember addressed the Homeland Security takeover of New Orleans 2 1/2 years ago. I expressed concern at this turn of events and was told by a bunch of folks here to go look for flying saucers. Well, live and learn, people. Or die and learn, as in the case of thousands along the Gulf Coast.

So I'll be rooting around these archives for a while, maybe start a thread, look in on yours.

And that Jones video...I like that guy's perspective because he's been burned a couple of times going out on unsupported limbs, and now he sticks to the facts. He can PROVE to you, ladies and gentlemen, that Sept 11 was an inside govt job. Etc. www.infowars.com. Yeah, his video is good, and the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms video is good. Lots of them out there.

Anyway, good to see you're still around. And you too, SRS. I think you and I had a discussion about courthouse buildings in TX. Or maybe I had that exchange with someone else.

Gotta go look for my New Orleans post.

Is that you, Dreaded Guest? And would this be that thread? BS: What is Texas like?

Don't know about the New Orleans one though. Some of the data was corrupted in the Big Mudcat Crash in June, and some posts from before then are out of order, which might make your search more difficult.

Yeah, Texas GUEST, just good to know that you haven't been picked up by the Bushite gestopo and are well...

No, I don't have any particular request... I just knew at one point in time that you'd have my back... Yeah, there are others but you always seemed to really have the ability to get unner the brownshirt's skin, you know, kinda like me, that others may not do and that used to give me some cover while I reloaded...

But, yeah, my undieing thanks to dianavan, SRS, Ebbie, Amos as well as a few others who are consistently there to stand down the bully/brainwashed brownshirt radicals who worship Bush...

Please don't give up on this joint... The war of ideas is right here front and center now... Katrina has changed everything... They are backpeddlin' and using staisticans and Clinton to try to evade their failures...

Yeah, the time to attack is now... They are weak and their vuleranbilites have been exposed... They are squealin' likie pigs... Just look at the crap they are bringing up??? Here it's been almost 6 years since Clinton was in office but now they are going to do everything in their power to blame the failures (after 9?11) of responding to Katrina on Clinton...

We neeed you, dreaded or not... The reason you were dreaded was because yer aim was good and yer facts were rioght on...

Fir sure...

Bobert

Can't find the New Orleans post. I posted it right before Mardi Gras in 2003 and wondered if Homeland Security (which had just taken over the city as a result of N.O. defaulting on several federal loans) wasn't going to release smallpox at the event. That was back when the govt was terrorizing us daily with the threat of smallpox.

Oh well. Blasted to electrons like most of my blatherings.

I don't know if I'd give you the kind of 'backing' you recall Bobert. Not nowadays. What I've learned in the past couple years is none too flattering to the Democrats. And I take no prisoners now. I gut Bushites and Clintonistas with equal relish. Have the skills to do it, too.

As I recall, you folks are too nice to subject to that kind of slaughter. America's going down, fast, and I know why, and I cleave the skulls of the cowardly nitwits who won't stand up and take responsibility for their country. I froth at the thought of tube-headed party supporters, and I chew their heads off just to silence their idiot freakin voices. I'm not the jovial guy I used to be, so don't ask for my help unless you want your opponent destroyed. And I suspect you like your neighbors here too much to do that to them. Demorcrat or Republican, I am their worst nightmare. I am a flawless mirror at mid-day. So I suggest you let them sleep in their slumberous little delusionalities. Life is so much more pleasant that way. I mean, none of YOU will ever run through the streets of New Orleans begging handouts from DUTCH TROOPS, will you? The dollar will last forever, won't it? The people who trashed the savings and loans won't bother your pension funds, will they? Grrr.

I may start a thread, though, and just gut the fish who bite. Someone give me a name not in use here. Make it a mean one. Dreaded Guest has been used, so something else.

"I am a flawless mirror at mid-day"

That means you're standing on your shadow.

I suggest you use the name, "GUEST, Worst Nightmare". Or if sausage gives you gas, then "GUEST, Wurst Nightmare".

Careful, there, Texas guest, or instead of being "under the X in Texas" you'll find yourself in the crosshairs instead.

Interesting challenge to think of a name for you to use, but I suspect that given some thought you'll come up with a sharp one yourself.

Yes, we SO worry about being caught in the crosshairs of Democrats baiting the Republicans here SRS.

I think you've rather missed the point. Again.

Here is the thing Bobert. The vast majority here are part of the vast majority. Therein lies the problem. For me, life is much too short to keep arguing with the same idiots here over and over.

As Texas guest points out, you are friends with many of the majoritarian idiots, so tend to be very nice where some of the rest of us see no point.

Genuine political independents (not Democrats who ruminate about being independent political thinkers every four years as they prepare to repeat history at their local voting booth) are the pariahs of our age. Why didn't the FBI just swoop in for the kill here in the Twin Cities five days before our primary election, to get rid of one of our most articulate Green city council members? Why yes they did. No indictments, just innuendo about "bribes" (also known as campaign contributions, but I digress) accepted for voting AGAINST the people/projects he purportedly was bribed for his vote.

I think you are fighting the wrong war, Bobert. Especially here, where everyone is so complacent about the Mudcat petty dictatorship headed up by Joe and Max. If they will accept it here, they'll accept it anywhere...

So I'd be careful who you call "friends" around here. The vast majority of Mudcatters seem to be the folks who would turn you or me or Texas guest into the FBI in a heartbeat.

With you, MN, in that I am very much a confessed Green... I ain't got no love fir the spinless Dems or the greedy Repubs....

Both are very much part of the problem and it was Einstien that noted that a problems cannot be solved with the same consciouness that went into making it...

I stick 'round here to try to get folks to think about just that...

Plus I am a musican and as so think it my duty to try to do what I can do to get other musicans to think about stuff... Musican,s, especially song writers and folkie's, IMO, have a duty to observe, interpret and tell the story... Not Boss Hog's story but the real story...

Well, we part ways regarding the politics and values of musicians. I see them as being no different than the rest of humanity, or any other group of artists for that matter.

And like I said, just be careful who you call "friends" in these treacherous waters. It's a dangerous time for the politically independent.

No, MN Guest, I didn't miss it, you did. My point was only a very small one shared with a fellow Texan.

Perhaps you'd like to add "lunatic fringe" as your moniker.

Everyone who doesn't share your mainstream views is a lunatic? A tad judgmental, that.

But it reveals volumes about your pathetic conventional, lock step thinking SRS.

brucie, you, like the other conventional mainstream thinkers that populate this place, have a very bad case of selective political amnesia when it comes to whom has been persecuted politically in the US down through our history.

I just gave a link above to a very real case of blatant political persecution: every bit as blatant as anything seen in the McCarthy era.

But hey--it can't happen here or now, right?

I didn't say that, YOU said that. What I did say is that the bullshit is getting deep on this thread. You do not know at this juncture whether or not I share your views. You haven't been polite enough to ask. When you are a little less full of yourself, let me know. Right now I don't find this stuff all that meaningful. Have a very nice day while you reconsider your presumptions. Also, you misused 'whom' in the first sentence. It's 'who'.
