As an Englishman I would like to say that this means nothing to me, either. That's probably because every time 'The Archers' theme music comes on the radio (something like every 5 sodding minutes!!) my hand reaches instinctively for the 'off' switch. I would also like to say that I HATE F..CKING SOAP OPERAS!!!!!

May I point out that "Oooooooooooooh" translates the same in any language and that David is a Hebrew name pronounced "Dah, eed" and means "Beloved" ? No? Ooooooooooooooh well.
