Heh! ;-)

The question is, does Canada want that job? I'm thinkin'....not really! But I'm sure we could make a whole lot of improvements in the USA if we did want that job.

It's a comedy team Jack .... problem with many Americans is that they have lost their sense of humour after getting all wrapped up in their politikal mess.

biLL .... ;)

Well, it is kind of hard to stay cheerful or see the funny side of things when you're living under a corrupt, corporate-military-banking oligarchy intent on robbing and deceiving its own people and conquering the world.

I know it is a comedy team. My comment was funny. But it was humor; not humour.

My Gawd Jack .... your are losing your Canadian identity ... it's humour, not humor.

Canadian humour

Good point LH ... but, once one loses their sense of humour, or lacks a sense of humour, they are a defeated person.

just sayin'

6, I'm playing with ya. Humor = what Americans find funny. Humour = what Commonwealth people find funny. Obviously there is no overlap. If there was, the US entertainment industry would be overrun by Canucks and Brits and people like Jim Carey and Ricky Grevais would be making movies and tv shows here.

Very droll. A little absurdity goes a long way, though.

Is Canada a natural born citizen? Wasn't it born in England?

Both Canada and the USA were born in the same place. Make of that what you will.

Actually Canada was born in Calais Maine.

ok .. ok .... never mind, just some Charlotte County N.B. humour/humor here.

I watched for about a minute, but, as a Canadian, found it too embarrassing to continue. Sorry; I know humour is subjective, and all that ....

Meself ... you found that too embarrassing?!?!

Imagine how Americans must feel about having Romney and Ryan as potential leaders of their country ... now that would be very embarrassing.

but then again yes, humour/humor is very subjective and all that ...

sometimes people must lighten up a little ... then maybe, just maybe they will begin see the light

Link above... "As is prevalent in other countries, humour at the expense of regional and ethnic stereotypes is also found in Canada. Obvious examples are 'Newfie' jokes..."

I never met a Newf that was a joke.

To be serious for a second, "Canada For President." Is funny for about the time it takes to read it and for that to sink in. Say.... 7 seconds. That BBC piece was 3 minutes 2 seconds or about 2 minutes and 55 seconds too long.

Prince Edward Island (PEI),more specifically Charlottetown, claims to be "the birthplace of Canada" because a "founding meeting' was held there. - if you are a Canadian "birther". More specifically, this "birthing" conference was held in a meeting room, in the building shown in the link below.

Oddly as it seems, even though it claims to be the birthplace, PEI did not join Canada until three or four years after this "birthing conference. At the time, PEI was undecided, as The United States had also been making overtures to PEI to join the republic and had dispatch informal delegates to promote this option.

""Guys like Bush?""

That was a long time ago. If Bush were Woody Allen's "Zelig", it could be so?
