I just read that Cameron was a boarder at Heatherdown Prep School which was just outside Ascot. Oddly enough, I prepared the school accounts for a couple of years just before the school closed due to financial difficulties in the early 1980s. I shared the room occupied by the bursar - Johnny Johnson who was very fat, and chain smoked the most hideous cigars.

Every morning at 10am, he would say "Ah, it's gin time" and lurch off to join the headmaster for their morning tipple.

I gather that Cameron was an inmate at that time.

Extraordinary that someone should go to the trouble of typing out that lump of utter irrelevance! Haven't you got something more constructing to do, like scraping out your toe-cheese or rearranging your Star Wars figurines?
Personally I think Cameron's a slimy, duplicitous lump of raw ambition unleavened by any great intellect, but the fact that he was at a particular Surrey prep school rates about 0.001 on the Fuck Me scale.

I was merely stating that I prepared the accounts of a school that David Cameron attended whilst a boy. Actually, I remember that the boys I spoke to were extremely polite, which is more than I can say for many young oiks today.

Inverted snobbery in the extreme!! If it makes you feel worse, I went to Queen Elizabeth's Boys' Grammar School in Barnet - you know, the school that tops the A level table!!!

What a coincidence eh, being in the same school where one of the boys is destined to be Prime Minister! Heatherdown, I was told of course was a feeder school for Eton, for the most part parents could afford the fees, but I do remember discussing a fairly heavy Bad Debt Provision on unpaid fees due from parents who had clearly overstretched their finances - or got divorced!

And I won a scholarship to a very well known Catholic Grammar school in London.

I was one of the four boys (chosen from the top 11+ passes) who went there each year at no expense to their parents.

Among the Old Boys of that school were a number of very famous people, including several VCs, but we were never taught anything about politics, nor were we allowed to feel superior.

Some people do not have their opinions formed by the education they receive.

Some people think for themselves, learn from experience, make up their own minds (not many of them in evidence here though)and choose the path they follow.

Some just say "Don't like him, he's posh, and he's got lots of money, so he's bound to be a crook. Besides, why should he be rich, when I'm poor"

Well you see, he has the smarts, and the dedication, and the work ethic to acquire money.

Gordon Brown's not short of a penny or two either, and he's done quite a good job of protecting some of his pals who are busting a gut to hang onto their ill gotten gains, while Cameron has said "pay up or leave", and made it stick.

Which is the more honest action? If you don't know the answer, then you deserve to continue to be screwed by the guy who finances his party by putting his hand into your pocket via the Trades Unions.

I cannot at the moment be bothered to reconstruct my post, but I do point out that boarding prep schools are a good place to learn buggery, but it is a shame when proposed to be committed on the electorate.
