Subject: BS: 85% of birds abandon Canada!
From: GUEST,T. Montague
Date: 21 Dec 05 - 02:36 PM

It happened, quietly and insidiously, over the past 3 months. Only a minority of the birds are still here. Most of them have left or vanished. It went unreported by the media. A massive coverup. It may mean that the end is near, at least for Canada. Where have the birds gone? Are they gone for good? Will the remainder leave? What then? It is time that people opened their eyes and faced the facts...the birds have left! The moose may be leaving too, but I have not yet confirmed that. Moose are harder to observe than birds.

I take this very seriously indeed, and regard it as a sign of the End Times.

Has anyone else noticed? If so, post here at once.

I have lots of birds in my backyard right now. Last week, one of said feathered varmints run into my picture window and dired. When I went to throw the carcass in the trash I noticed a sign on it's bottom: "Made in Canada". Hummm.

See if you can recover the body, pdq. It might be the rare Ream-nosed Romflombler. If it is, you can get big bucks from collectors.

I did notice big flocks of birds gathering a month or two ago, and then they all left. Strange...

Actually, Little Hawk, in the state of Nevada we get the most money for the Redheaded Double-breasted Bed Thrasher, but they most definitely must be alive!

We call it the fall migration. Happens every year. Now if some scientist thinks there may be a research grant involved, it no doubt will be attributed to climate change.

It's okay, unless of course the butterflies have abandoned Canada as well. Then you are in big, BIG trouble.

Agreed. Chongo will not get to peruse these photos.

He's still ranting on about the new King Kong movie anyway, so his mind is on other matters at the moment.

you see what happens when satellites are hacked??? First people blink too much, then they rub their faces, then the birds leave! Next it'll be little green leaves appearing on trees!

Surely they won't be entering that phase for a couple more months though, will they? Unless global warming accelerates the process.

Shucks, the guys at the Idaho Legion Hovel saw this thread title and thought all the girls in Canada were leaving for the States.

You've never seen such disappointment.

All those Canadians moved down here to the Central Valley of California for the winter. The weather is mild, and the fields fill up with water and become swimming pools. This area is a birdwatcher's paradise during the winter months.
We're in the Sierra Foothills, so we don't get the waterfowl that the Central Valley gets. One of the most interesting migratiions here is the robins. During the rest of the year, you see robins one at a time. This time of year, I'll sometimes see a hundred robins in the yard.

Most Canadians have a bird or two in the freezer. They didn't leave. We, much like our American neighbours, often elect turkeys to positions of power--for example, Bush and Martin (notice the bird name). Yep. Things is dire.

You don't have to worry until the Dolphins leave. I don't think "Marineland" is going to let them go easily either.

All that this proves is that birds and butterflies are smart enough to not want to be in Canada during the winter ... and if Canadian people don't leave for the winter, how does that rate them?

Some cannot leave. Some are being held against their will at detention centres in Quebec and are being watched twenty four hours a day by federal agents. And only because they are French! Talk about profiling! Kind of a Cordon Blue, not yet elevated to Red. I'll be back with a link.
