You know, it seems like months since we had a crash at Mudcat.

What's right with the system?

How come we aren't shut down like we used to be at random moments?

How come my most creative efforts just get posted instead of vanishing into the ether?

Have aliens taken over?

Advice: write your serious posts in wordpad or notepad, then they don't get lost when your browser crashes, the 'cat goes down, or the dialup goes bellyup.

Or simply use the right-click "copy" feature with your mouse before you hit submit, so that if your masterpiece does disappear, you can then copy it onto Wordpad or whatever.

I find that USUALLY if you go "back", your prospective post is usually still there ...
